The I16 AVIATOR PRO (PRO stands for professional) version has the second at 6 o´Clock position and looks different from the other models. Also the crown is placed on the right side of the case.
The transparent case back shows the TNT inhouse movement. The design of our own inhouse-made mechanism appears with a ¾ plate and it's very close to the traditional german Glashütte movements. As a special feature we designed an open balance bridge to give the best view to the working balance and spring.
The basic case comes in black PVD and steel combination, and at the moment this is the only colour version available.
The case back is transparent and gives the maximum view to our first inhouse mechanism.
The basic optical principles of the I16 Aviator watch is the 44mm square case with 4 massive real screws. This design is following as much as possible the Russian board instrument used in the combat plane I16 during WW2.
The geometry as well as the screws are close to the original and the combination between steel color and black PVD together with different movement options gives a lot of choices between the Aviator Models.
The first start of this airplane dates back to 1933. The readability was the fundamental criteria behind the creation of the I16 watch, just as with the I16 aircraft board instrument itself. The final watch design is very close to the historical board instrument. The dial of the historical Aviator1944 is a nearly perfect copy of the original I16 board instrument. Strong Luminova optimizes the readability!

General Dial Informations:
The Aviator Family comes with 3 different dial versions. All of them equipped with strong glowing Luminova for perfect readibility during night.
Also the hands carry the Luminova, the style is the same like in the historical Clock.
1. Aviator1944 - Second below 12 (close to the center like in the original Bordinstrument )
2. Aviator ONE and RU - Second at 12 o´Clock position
3. Aviator PRO - Second at 6 o´Clock Position

Also the straps are made from massive leather. The stitching is made by hand.
The buckle is deep engraved and appears in the look of a wing.
